Penny Pinching

As my blogging universe has expanded so has my participation in giveaways. I have signed up for hundred and hundreds of giveaways in the past several months. I can't help myself. Its an illness. I may need an intervention. Same for all the blogs that highlight good deals and coupons. People who actually scour the internet looking for 20% off codes and free full size bags of chips. I love these people. I thought I would share a few of my favorites with you today.

1. Bloggy Giveaways - This is the holy grail of giveaway sites, in my humble opinion. They host daily giveaways plus seasonal giveaways where hundreds of participants sign up to give away free stuff. Good stuff. Like Starbucks giftcards, books, purses, etc.

2. Want Not - This site is wonderful for finding the best deals on the internet. She checks the sales to tell you what the best deals are that day and finds great free shipping codes to boot.

3. Money Saving Mom - She will help you work the CVS and Walgreens sales and points to get the best deals. Shopping almost for free. But she also covers deals for Target, grocery stores, RiteAid, and many, many more places.

Today 5 Minutes for Mom is hosting a great giveaway for an absolutely beautiful purse. You should all go sign up now.

These are just a few of my favorites. I subscribe to many more beyond these three. Let me know if you have any must read bargain sites. In a short month and a half I will be working on a greatly reduced budget and can use all the help I can get.

Saving money is always a good thing! thanks for the tips!

Also, about my diet I handle cravings for sweets by eating a fruit, or applesauce, or an 80 cal cup of yogurt.

Once a week or so I'll give into one or two cravings, to keep balance and avoid feeling totally deprived and crashing all in one day.

On the days I do have a treat, I also do an hour workout instead of my regular 30 minutes.

Just stumbled across your blog....thanks for sharing these sights. I am slowly trying to become a bargain wizard---but so far I am still too lazy! :-)
